Where were you born and raised?
I was born in Venezuela in 1992 and raised in Colombia
How did where you were raised influence your healthy habits?
Colombia has a tropical weather, we don’t have seasons, so all year around we eat a lot of fruits to keep ourself hydrated. We are highly influenced by going to the mountains and do a bit of hiking and dancing is our main sport.
What is one of your daily rituals?
I love walking, even a short walk helps me to enjoy my everyday.
What are you currently working on?
I studied fashion design backhome and did my masters in Australia, I been designing and creating my own brand that hopefully I could launch soon.
What is one of the biggest challenges you have faced in your life career wise?
Having worked full time for 6 months in an internship without getting paid or getting any kind of reward.
What are some ways you handle stress and pressure?
I always call my dad when I get stress, he calms me down. Also my daily walk helps me to clear my mind.
What is your greatest strength?
I really focus on what I´ll like to achieve, perseverance and seeing things from a different perspective.
What is your greatest weakness?
Being so perfectionist, I always expect too much.
Who inspires you?
My grandma, a woman who had travelled the world and though me I could do achieve anything I wanted.
What inspires you?
Creative people, there are the best people you can count on, they find answers to any problem.
How is sustainability apart of your life?
It´s all about the details, as simple as recycling at home, taking my own bags to the supermarket and not using a lot of plastic. I´m currently a vegetarian since the first day of 2020
What is your biggest wellness indulgence?
Love the massage days, even going to the nail saloon once a week but in the times of covid something simple as having flowers all around the house
What are your 3 clean – non toxic beauty must haves?
1. I love bio-oil, its always on my shelf
2. Mario Badescu orange blossom facial spray which I swap with Avene Eau Thermal
3. Sunscreen everyday
What are your 3 wellness must haves?
1. Lemon always at home, for a tea, just with water or to add some flavour to any meal
2. Tonic from James Welness just before breakfast or even after
3. A good moisturiser which I change depending on the season
Whats your ideal way to switch off?
Having a hot tea in the middle of the day or at night
Close all my devices and do some stretching at home
What are you currently reading, watching and or listening to?
Listening: The business of Fashion podcast, I loved the 4th of Sep episode
Watching: I just finish watching Anne with and E on Netflix.
Reading and writing: I love to write random thoughts or taking notes of articles in magazines.
AD magazine or Cereal are one of my favourites
Where is your favorite place to travel?
I love Barcelona and its vibe. Roma the place to get inspired. Japan my next place to go.
Hotel weekend its a nice guide of hotel boutiques around the globe. I love trying different hotels every time I travel.
What do you eat for breakfast in the morning?
Eggs sometimes (the only non vegetarian meal during the day), freshly squeeze orange juice and a piece of toast.
Or Oats with peanut butter, banana and oat milk. At the end Colombian coffee is a must.
